FIRESIDE MINISTRIES, INC. WAIVER OF LIABILITY & RELEASE AGREEMENT

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A WAIVER OF CERTAIN RIGHTS.

In consideration for my being permitted to participate in the activities provided by Fireside Ministries, Inc. at the Christ Fellowship Church Diesel event, I, the undersigned, agree to the following Waiver and Release Agreement.

I acknowledge and agree that the activities involved in airsoft shooting and firearms training have inherent risks, hazards, and dangers that cannot be eliminated. I understand that my participation is purely voluntary, and I elect to participate in spite of these risks.

I UNDERSTAND THAT THESE RISKS, HAZARDS, AND DANGERS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1. The risks of handling airsoft weapons and being near others who are also handling them.

2. The risk of injury to my eyes or body from airsoft projectiles, ricochets, and target debris.

3. The risk of tripping, falling, or other injuries on the premises of the event.

4. Inclement weather conditions, as well as insects or other animals.

5. The risk of property damage caused by me or others.

For my safety, I understand that proper eye protection must be worn at all times while in the designated shooting area. If I choose not to wear the provided eye protection, I am doing so at my own risk and in violation of event rules.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I AM VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THE SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES PROVIDED BY FIRESIDE MINISTRIES, INC. WITH THE FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THE INHERENT RISKS, HAZARDS, AND DANGERS INVOLVED, AND I HEREBY ASSUME AND ACCEPT ANY AND ALL RISKS OF INJURY, PARALYSIS, OR DEATH.

Lastly, for myself, my heirs, successors, executors, and assigns, I KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY WAIVE, RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS FIRESIDE MINISTRIES, INC. and CHRIST FELLOWSHIP CHURCH, their directors, officers, agents, employees, volunteers, and instructors from and against any and all claims, actions, causes of action, liabilities, suits, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with my participation in this activity.

This includes, but is not limited to, any acts, omissions, and/or NEGLIGENCE OF ANY KIND OR NATURE by anyone, including but not limited to NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES THEMSELVES, whether foreseen or unforeseen, arising directly or indirectly out of any damage, loss, injury, paralysis, or death that results from such negligence.

I further agree not to sue Fireside Ministries, Inc. or Christ Fellowship Church as a result of any injury, paralysis, or death suffered in connection with my use and participation in the airsoft shooting activities.

Affirmations and Responsibilities

By signing below, I affirm that:

● I am not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

● I am not depressed or having suicidal or homicidal thoughts.

● I am in lawful possession of any firearm I may choose to carry on my person in accordance with all state and federal laws.

● I have read and agree to follow all safety rules and instructions provided by the staff and instructors of Fireside Ministries, Inc.

● I will seek instruction from a Range Safety Officer if I am not familiar with the use of an airsoft weapon.

● I understand that I am responsible for any damage to myself, property, or persons caused by my use or misuse of the airsoft weapon or my actions while at the event.

● I am responsible for my own health and accident insurance. I understand that Fireside Ministries, Inc. does not provide any health, accident, or liability insurance coverage for my participation in this event.

● Medical Consent: In the event of an emergency, I consent to the staff and volunteers of Fireside Ministries, Inc. contacting and/or providing emergency medical services for me. I agree to be responsible for the cost of any such medical care.

Photo / Video Release

I grant Fireside Ministries, Inc. and Christ Fellowship Church the irrevocable right to use, publish, and copyright photographs, videos, and other media in which I may appear for promotional, fundraising, or ministry purposes without compensation or further notice to me.

Minor Release

If I am signing for a minor under the age of 18, I affirm that I have full legal authority to do so as their parent or legal guardian. I consent to their participation in the activities and agree to the terms of this waiver on their behalf. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless all parties mentioned above from any claims or actions that may arise from their participation. I understand that minors will not handle any weapon without explicit instruction and supervision from a legal guardian or designated instructor.

Governing Law & Severability

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida. If any portion of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in full legal force and effect.

Acknowledgment

I have read and fully understand all of the provisions of this Release. I am freely, knowingly, and voluntarily entering into this Release.
